Why Order Early?

You've just gotten engaged and you have months and months until you say "I do". So what's the hurry with ordering?

What many brides often don't realize is the time line involved with each part of your bridal ensemble. Bridal gowns can take up to 5 months if you are ordering and of course once the gown arrives you will need time to schedule several fittings. Most gowns require 2-3 fittings and the seamstress often needs several weeks to make adjustments. Planning a bridal portrait? Your photographer will most likely ask to set up a bridal portrait several months before the wedding to make time for a portrait to be displayed at your reception.

When you start to put all these things together, you begin to realize that what seemed like "plenty of time" turned into "just the right amount of time". :)

Of course, close weddings are always doable! Our designers offer custom deliveries to accommodate quickly approaching wedding dates.

Now what about your accessories? You will want to have your shoes and undergarments ready for your fitting so you'll want to have chosen those in advance. Those typically take 2-3 weeks to arrive. You'll also want to allow plenty of time for your veil, headpiece, and any jewelry to arrive for your bridal portrait. You can expect those to take from 3-8 weeks.

All that information can seem like a long list of "to-do's", but our staff makes it easy for you. We make sure you are right on schedule and that everything is on track for you day!
